2008 was a bit of a disappointment, with only one T&T and one event (the 2008 Mopar Nationals) attended. The good news is, that there aren't any major hurdles to overcome this year, so hopefully we'll get some more seat / track time in 2009.

Hopefully soon the Central Florida Turbo 3-piece Neon Front End Kit will be complete, so the ten of us with paid deposits can pay our balances and start to receive these kits. I'd like to get the body work done ASAP so I can hit the dyno and be ready for N2K9. Here are some pics of what the prototype looks like:

 

I also plan to have the hood scoop redone by a local fab shop, to improve the aerodynamics and overall appearance.

The other update / upgrade I made this winter was the new gauge cluster. Rather than having a tach surrounded by 6 gauges that I hardly ever have time to read, the new design has the centrally mounted tach but adds a pair of AEM Serial Gauges and warning lights. The gauges will be configured to show vital stats and will be wired to trigger the warning lights when vitals exceed programmed setpoints. The new cluster also provides clearance for the new clutch master cylinder. Pics coming soon!
