We are hiring:

Marketing Manager.

Project Neon is a small and passionate agency located in Stavanger, Norway. We are looking for a senior marketing manager to join our team.

Will you stand out from the crowd?

As a growing agency in Stavanger, we are looking for an experienced marketing professional who can work strategically with our clients, defining their marketing requirements, working in collaboration with the rest of the Project Neon team to deliver results and measurable success.

At Project Neon, our approach and connection with our clients differs from other agencies in town.  We believe that consistency is the key to brand awareness, and our team brings an integrated and strategic approach to the marketing and communications activities of its customers in the Energy sector.

Rather than offering clients just a single piece of the marketing puzzle, we work in partnership with our clients, operating as an extension to their business and bringing them continuous access to a full-service marketing and communications team.  From strategy, design, content, media relations and social media, to event planning and web development, our multi-disciplinary team takes care of it, or finds and works with a partner who can.  Our work isn’t just executed, our approach is relationship-first, and the team focuses on working holistically to ensure that our clients marketing and communications activity is directly aligned to their business goals.

This strategy is already getting great results for our clients, who now have a consistent and professional approach to their activity.  With increasing client visibility in the marketplace both locally and internationally, along with increased customer engagement, the team is proud to be helping our clients grow.  It is clear that this approach is attractive, with our team and client base having doubled over the last 12 months and interest in our services continuing to gain momentum.

As a result, we now seek an experienced, driven, marketing professional who will lead client accounts and work within our fast-paced team:

  • Confident in using this knowledge to develop creative and strategically-aligned activities, tactics and plans to meet the relevant business goals

  • Equipped with strong project management skills to facilitate the needs of various clients and work with other members of the Project Neon team to ensure successful marketing campaigns are deployed from ideation to execution

  • Capable of juggling multiple tasks and short deadlines, for different clients, in a busy, fast paced environment

  • Confident at presenting ideas, results, and dealing directly with senior, C-suite or board-level members within client companies

  • Focused on building strategic relationships and partnerships with our clients
Driven and results orientated, must be able to act as the point of expertise for our clients, thinking creatively to provide advice, guidance and support

  • Capable of finding ways to measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals

  • Strong writing skills (in English) to produce or proof-read content for a variety of touchpoints including websites, case studies, product sheets

  • An ability and interest to stay up to date with trends and developments within the energy sector to ensure that client work is in line and advice can be given accordingly

  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in marketing

  • Must be able to work within a team and willing to try new things and learn

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in a marketing or communications role

  • Experience in the Energy sector is preferred

  • Previous agency experience would be a benefit

  • Must be able to write and communicate fluently in English

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Knowledge of WIX, LinkedIn and Hootsuite are useful but not essential
