Are you our next Marketing Manager?



It's 2022, time for a new challenge? We are looking for a Marketing Manager to join our team in Stavanger.


The Marketing Manager is a key connection for our clients. Often the primary point of contact, you must be a knowledgeable, responsive, and supportive interface for our clients. Operating as if you were our clients’ inhouse Marketing Manager, the role involves identifying our clients’ goals and activating the relevant marketing activity to help them achieve their ambitions.


With a primary focus on content creation, strong writing skills are a must. As this role will oversee multiple client accounts at one time, strong project management and time management skills are also vital.

Maintaining a strong relationship and regular communication with our clients is essential. While it will be busy, this role will never be lonely, as we operate as a team at Project Neon. Therefore, this role will involve working closely with other members of the Project Neon team to deliver full-service, integrated, marketing and communications support for the client.


In addition to supporting client work, the role holder will also support the Founding Director with Project Neon related marketing activity.

As Marketing Manager, you will:

  • Develop a sound understand our clients; their market, business and goals and use this knowledge to develop marketing strategies, tactics and plans to meet the relevant business goals strategically and creatively

  • Facilitate the needs of various clients and work with other members of the Project Neon team to ensure successful marketing campaigns are deployed from ideation to execution

  • Use your own background and knowledge to add value to our clients and internally, within Project Neon

  • Establish monthly meetings with the client and input to monthly reporting

  • Produce content for a variety of touchpoints – from website content to sales brochures, blog posts, case studies.

  • Ensure clients’ social media activity is delivered on time and with relevant, up to date content

  • Produce quarterly LinkedIn reports to demonstrate the effectiveness / lessons learned from LinkedIn activity

  • Set up LinkedIn campaigns for clients as required – this includes inputting into the creative content, writing post content, setting up the campaign and delivering post campaign feedback

  • Produce digital marketing content e.g. direct mailing, blogs etc and report on the effectiveness of digital campaigns

  • Execute website updates, including drafting new content and sourcing new imagery, as required

  • Work with Project Neon’s design team to develop engaging imagery, video content and brand touchpoints for clients

  • Can work with client sales or management teams to produce presentation content

  • Set up and run webinars as required

  • Support our clients with event planning, taking the lead, as required, on all event (physical and digital) execution – including working closely with third party stand builders, if required

  • Provide creative and strategic thinking into all client work

  • Support the Founding Director with Project Neon marketing activity i.e. LinkedIn content, blog posts, case study development

  • Build and maintain relationships with third party suppliers i.e. printers, video production, animators etc. to deliver projects for client

  • Stay up to date with marketing industry trends and share best practices


​Your personal background might look something like this:

  • A proactive, go-getter who enjoys a busy, creative working environment

  • Confident at effectively communicating and supporting sales teams, C-suite members and other client contacts

  • A proven marketing background with at least 5+ years in a similar role

  • Experience in the energy sector is useful, but not essential

To succeed, you’ll need the following skills:

  • ​Must be able to work fluently in English

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Social media knowledge, especially LinkedIn

  • Working knowledge of, or the ability to quickly get familiar with Canva, Hootsuite, automated marketing campaigns, and HubSpot.

Relational

  • Strong communication skills

  • A strong team player mentality, and be able to work closely with the rest of the team, clients and third party suppliers

  • Able to take constructive feedback, learn and adapt

  • Not always a yes person – able to understand what is being asked for and the goal, but be competent and confident to suggest another approach if there’s a better one

​Time management

  • Strong project management skills, which are essential to facilitate the needs of various clients

  • ​Be driven and results orientated, with an ability to think creatively

  • Be aware of PN time with clients and work effectively with the Marketing / Comms team to ensure clear deliverables are achieved within that time.
