We need a Marketing & Communications Coordinator


Looking to jump into a new role? We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing & Communications Coordinator to join our team in Stavanger.


The Marketing and Communications Coordinator will play a pivotal role in providing cross disciplinary support to client accounts. The role holder must be a reliable and safe pair of hands, willing and able to diligently, professionally, and competently, carry out tasks in a timely manner. With a primary focus on content creation, strong writing skills are a must. In addition, an interest in digital marketing is desirable since client social media will also be a key aspect of this role.


In addition to supporting client work, the role holder will also support the Founding Director with Project Neon related marketing activity.

As a Marketing and Communications Coordinator, you will:

  • ​Work with the team to support the delivery of all clients’ social media activity. This includes drafting and sharing editorial calendars on a monthly basis, with quarterly reporting undertaken

  • Need strong writing skills, with the ability to produce content for a variety of sales touchpoints including websites, case studies, product sheets

  • Assist the PR team with media materials such as press releases and features

  • Draft digital marketing content e.g. direct mailing, blogs etc

  • Manage and maintain forward feature and editorial calendars

  • Ensure media lists are up to date

  • Function as a website editor with responsibility for updating client websites

  • Assist the PR and marketing teams to ensure content is delivered to the right audience, at the right time, and via the right platform

  • Support the marketing manager with event planning and execution

  • Work closely with the relevant PR/marketing manager on client plans/project

  • Work together with our graphics team to create brand touchpoints as required

  • Support the Founding Director with Project Neon marketing activity i.e. LinkedIn content, blog posts, case study development

  • Work with third party suppliers i.e. printers, video production, animators etc. to deliver projects for customers

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, journalists and relevant stakeholders

  • Stay up to date with PR / marketing industry trends and share best practices

​Your personal background might look something like this:

  • A proactive, go-getter who enjoys a busy, creative working environment

  • A background, knowledge and interest in PR and marketing

  • Ideally 1-2 years in a similar role

  • Experience in the energy sector is useful but not essential

To succeed, you'll need the following skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Social media knowledge, especially LinkedIn

  • Bonus points if you are familiar with Canva, Hootsuite, automated marketing campaigns, or HubSpot.

Relational

  • Demonstrate strong team player mentality, and be able to work closely with the rest of the team and third party suppliers

  • Able to take constructive feedback, learn and adapt

Time management

  • Strong project management skills, which are essential to facilitate the needs of various clients

  • ​Be driven and results orientated, with an ability to think creatively

  • Be aware of PN time with clients and work effectively with the Marketing / Comms team to ensure clear deliverables are achieved within that time.
